• Stimulate public interest in amateur wrestling.
• Encourage young people to participate in amateur wrestling.
• Promote scholarship among student wrestlers.
• Help support and develop facilities for amateur wrestling.
• Support wrestling exchanges, tournaments and camps.
• Maintain records and distribute information relating to amateur wrestling.
